OTJIWARONGO, 15 JAN (NAMPA) – Two men died instantly on Thursday after a Nissan double-cab they were travelling in overturned between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo in the Otjozondjupa Region.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Otjozondjupa Regional Detective, Chief Inspector Hendrik Kharuchab told Nampa in an interview on Friday that the men have been identified as a 44-year-old David Tulonga Nampala; and 21-year-old Andreas Natanga.
“Their family members have been informed,” Kharuchab said.
The accident occurred at approximately 17h30, some 33 kilometres north of Okahandja.
Kharuchab said three occupants, including the driver (Nampala), were in the vehicle at the time of accident, adding that they were travelling from the direction of Okahandja to Otjiwarongo.
It is suspected the driver lost control over the vehicle and it overturned.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened at the Okahandja Police Station.
