WINDHOEK, 13 JAN (NAMPA) - All learners who sat for the 2015 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) Ordinary Level examination have been urged to collect their individual statements of results from their respective schools as from Thursday this week.
Announcing the NSSC examination results in the capital on Wednesday, Minister of Education, Arts and Culture, Katrina Hanse-Himarwa said the examination results are also in a broadsheet format at the ministry’s respective regional offices.
“Regional offices will provide a service during office hours by supplying results from the broadsheets to candidates and relatives who visit the regional offices or venues,” she said.
These results will also be made available in local newspapers on Thursday.
Hanse-Himarwa added that the NSSC certificates will become available mid-April 2016.
A total of 47 832 full-time and part-time candidates were registered at 182 full-time and 148 part-time examination centres country wide for the 2015 NSSC Ordinary Level examinations.
This represents 20 301 full-time and 27 531 part-time learners.
Only 6 056 NSSC Ordinary Level learners have qualified for admission to tertiary education institutions this year.
