OTJIWARONGO, 06 JAN (NAMPA) – A 22-year-old woman is missing for close to a week at Outjo in the Kunene Region.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Otjozondjupa Regional Detective, Chief Inspector Naukalemo Andreas told Nampa in an interview on Wednesday that Maleska Bapello had gone to church in Etoshapoort in Outjo on New Year’s Eve, and never returned home.
Andreas said Bapello is light in complexion and 1,4 metres tall.
“She likes socialising with any person who invites her and now we do not know where she is. Her family members together with the police searched for her in and around Outjo district, but to no avail,” she said.
Andreas said Bapello is mentally unstable.
She had on a dark green Nama style dress, purple scarf and black shoes on the day she disappeared.
The police asked for anyone with information about Bapello to inform the nearest police station.
