Cape Town - With the many terrorist attacks in 2015 aimed at highly developed western countries, one would think these hotspots would be marked as 'unsafe'. But no.
According to data from the Global Peace Index, which takes into consideration security at home, militarisation and involvement in domestic and international conflict, 97% of terror attacks in the last 15 years have occurred in non-Western countries.
But they aren't the safest either...
Iceland remains in a steady first place as the world's safest country, since the survey was started in 2007.
