Nedbank Managing Director Erastus Hoveka has resigned from the company and will leave on 30 September this year.

The Board of Directors of Nedbank Namibia Limited this afternoon announced that it has taken a “considered decision to grant the incumbent” his wishes of pursuing other interests and, as a consequence, relinquish his position at the bank.

Read a statement issued today, “During the intervening period, the bank will take all steps necessary to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities with the most capable assistance of the Executive Committee under the leadership of the Deputy Managing Director, Mr Lionel Matthews.”

Advocate Theo Frank, Chairman of the Board of Directors, says: “We wish to thank Mr. Hoveka for his confident leadership and strategic vision in service to Nedbank for over six years and wish him only the very best in his future endeavours”.
