WINDHOEK, 18 MAY (NAMPA) ? The newly-appointed Brave Warriors coach, Roger Palmgren will announce his first national squad on Monday.
Palmgren,50, takes over from caretaker coach Bernard Kaanjuka who resigned in March this year.
The Swedish-born coach was unveiled to the Namibian nation on 08 May this year.
The Namibia Football Association (NFA) announced on Friday that the squad will prepare for an upcoming friendly match against Zambia later this month.
The match will also serve as a warm-up game for the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Castle Cup to be hosted by Zambia in July this year.
From the squad a team will be build to compete in the remaining games of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Namibia will play Malawi away on 05 June, Nigeria away on 12 June, and Kenya away on 07 September.
