Namibian police officer dies on peace-keeping mission in Liberia

WINDHOEK, 24 NOV (NAMPA) - A female Namibian Police Force (NamPol) officer, Ndeupe Katrina Angula, has died while on a peace-keeping mission in Liberia.
A family member of the deceased told Nampa on enquiry Tuesday that Angula was complaining of not feeling well and was taken to a hospital, but died shortly afterwards.
This family member could not give more information surrounding the death, saying she will come back to this news agency at a later stage.
Approached for comment, NamPol Deputy Commissioner Tobias Elago confirmed the death, also saying they are waiting for detailed information surrounding the incident.
