EY donated and planted trees at the Orange Babies pre-school in Otjomuise as part of its goal of “Building a Better World.”
According to an EY press release, this was in support of the Pappa House which is, “a project of the Child Development Foundation (now Orange Babies Foundation) that provides a haven of quality education, food and after school care to 40 pre-schoolers in the heart of one of the most deprived communities in Windhoek.”
EY gave donations to the school earlier this year in order to establish a playground with swings, slides and sand pits. With the addition of trees EY has helped to create, “a natural environment to learn and play.”
The pre-schoolers also put on a christmas play for the EY volunteers at the planting event.
