Ex-Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola is first choice to take over. It’s thought either Jose Morais or Rui Faria will take over as interim manager until Pep Guardiola can be persuaded to take the reins.

Unconfirmed Sources close to Stamford Bridge told Winner Sports that Mourinho was dismissed by Chelsea F.C. Chairman Bruce Buck hours after Saturday’s 1-3 lose against Liverpool, which left the Blues 15th in the Premier League, but the decision was made before the game.

According to Winner Sports sources, Mourinho felt he had already “lost the dressing room” before the game against Liverpool.

Sources close to Stamford Bridge have confirmed to Winner Sports that Mourinho was dismissed hours after Saturday’s 1-3 lose against Liverpool, which left the Blues Champions League qualification hopes in tatters.

A source told Winner Sports: “Normally in situations like these, the club will announce the departure on Monday morning. They will probably release a statement that it was by mutual consent, but in reality he’s been sacked.”
