Shalulile and Hoaseb boost Warriors' squad

WINDHOEK, 13 OCT (NAMPA) – National senior football team striker Peter Shalulile and midfielder Denzil Hoaseb are fit and available for their team’s crucial second-leg clash against Gambia on Tuesday.
Namibia and Gambia meet again in the 2018 International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) World Cup preliminary round match in Windhoek.
In the first leg played in Bakau, Gambia on Friday, the two nations drew 1-1.
The match on Tuesday will decide who goes through to the next round of the competition and face Guinea in further qualifying games.
A statement availed to Nampa on Tuesday by the Namibia Football Association (NFA) quoted Brave Warriors’ coach, Ricardo Mannetti as saying Shalulile and Hoaseb have recovered from their ankle and head injuries, respectively and will feature against Gambia.
The match starts at 16h00 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
