Samsung Electronics is proud to announce that it has received the highest number of votes in Namibia‘s first Best Buy Award survey in the category for best price-quality ratio for smartphones and household appliances.
According to the research, consumers in Namibia gave Samsung a first-place ranking for the best price- quality ratio, a placement far ahead of its direct competitors. Conducted by the Swiss organisation ICERTIAS – International Certification Association GmbH – the Best Buy Award survey used an online questionnaire on a sample of 1 200 respondents in Namibia in July 2015.
The Best Buy Award survey measures consumers’ experiences, opinions and perceptions of the providers who offer the best value for money. Its objective and the associated certification is to simplify a buyer’s search for the best goods and services at the most favourable prices.

A number of leading international companies are actively using the prestigious Best Buy Award medals, including Bonduelle, Bosch, Danone, Dr. Oetker, Henkel, Lidl, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, REWE Group, Unilever, Volkswagen, Zepter and many others. Although it is a young certification scheme, the Best Buy Award survey results have been cited by over 1 000 leading international and local media organisations since 2010, including Bloomberg, ABC, CBS, Fox and Yahoo Finance News.
