Lady May in stable condition

WINDHOEK, 27 SEP (NAMPA) Local artist and former Big Brother contestant Lady May was on Sunday still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a local hospital after she was involved in an accident on Thursday.
A delivery vehicle drove into the 28-year-old singer, whose real name is Martha Namundjebo, while she was on her scooter at a four-way stop in Windhoek.
Speaking to Nampa on behalf of the family on Sunday, Hilda Basson-Namundjebo confirmed the accident and said the singer is in stable condition.
According to Basson-Namundjebo, the driver of the delivery vehicle said he did not see Lady May at the four-way.
Lady May is amongst others known for her hit song Chokola, which received a lot of play on Channel O and MTVBase Africa. She also won Best Female Artist at the 2004 Sanlam/Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Music Awards.
