Aikukutu Titus Anghuwo has died

OTJIWARONGO, 16 SEP (NAMPA) – War veteran, Aikukutu Titus Anghuwo has died.
He was 95.
Anghuwo died last Thursday in the Oshakati Intermediate Hospital in the Oshana Region after a long illness.
He is the father of Otjozondjupa Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Joseph Anghuwo.
Aikukutu contributed immensely to the liberation struggle of Namibia by housing, nursing and feeding the then guerrillas of the People’s Liberation Army of Namibia (Plan) in the Omusati Region.
Commissioner Anghuwo told Nampa on Wednesday his father will be buried on Saturday at the Onangholo cemetery in the Omusati Region.
The last memorial service will take place on Friday evening at that village.
The late Anghuwo leaves behind his wife, Fransina Asser Anghuwo, five adult children and many great-grandchildren.
