The King Kauluma Palace were crowned champions of the 2013 National Special Insurance Association (NASRIA), Cup after beating Ongwediva City 3-2 after extra time.
The final was played in the Oshana Region at the Oshakati Independence Stadium at the weekend.
A total of 12 teams from Oshana took part in a two day event that was well attended by supporters and football lovers from that region.
In the third and fourth place play-off match, Africa Motto beat Onelago United 2-1 to take third place in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
KK Palace walked away with N$10 000, gold medals and a trophy, while City got N$7 000 and silver medals.
Motto who came third received N$5 000 and bronze medals while fourth place United received N$3 000.
The event was graced by the presence of Michael Mwinga, special advisor to the Governor of Oshana Region, NFA Oshana Region Chairman Frans Mbidi and CEO of NASRIA Ndjoura Tjozongoro, who all officiated during the awards ceremony.
The cup was hosted under the theme blow the whistle on unrest and political disturbance in the north of Namibia.
