Shaningwa targets apartheid laws
The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Sophia Shaningwa, says the ministry will be phasing out the old apartheid legislation and replacing it with new legislation that will fall under the Urban and Rural Planning Bill which will be tabled in Parliament later this year.
Drought fuels Namibia’s charcoal production
The Namibian charcoal industry is booming, with hundreds of new farmers joining the industry because of the drought.
