Polytech hosts live viewing party of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit

Polytech of Namibia Hosted a Live Viewing Party of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit in Washington, D.C. Monday.  Polytechnic students watched as President Obama addressed the 500 Mandela Washington Fellows gathered in the U.S., including nine Namibian young leaders.  U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Officer Priscilla Hernandez encouraged students at the viewing party to envision themselves at the 2106 Summit.  Greg Ferris, a Namibian entrepreneur and 2014 participant, gave helpful hints about the application process, which should get underway October through December.  Interested aspiring Fellows for the 2016 Summit should monitor the U.S. Embassy Facebook page for more information.
