WINDHOEK, 28 JUL (NAMPA) – The Cancer Association of Namibia last week bid farewell to its outgoing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Reinette Koegelenberg.
A media statement issued on Monday by the new CEO, Rolf Hansen, said Koegelenberg served the association as CEO for the past nine years and prior to this for three years as project co-ordinator.
“She will still be actively involved in the fight against cancer on a volunteer basis and join volunteer programmes along the coast,” said Hansen.
Koegelenberg is moving to Swakopmund after her husband was transferred there for work.
Koegelenberg was quoted in the statement as saying she treasures the years of friendship and patriotism she had with the association in the fight against cancer in Namibia.
