Two Chinese nationals perish in car accident

RUNDU, 28 JUL (NAMPA) – Two Chinese nationals died here on Saturday when the driver lost control of the vehicle they were traveling in, causing it to overturn.
The accident took place at around 18h00, Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Deputy Commissioner, Petrus Shiwedha told Nampa on Tuesday.
He said the Mazda pick-up the two men were travelling in had four occupants.
They were driving from Nepara to Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.
Wu Jiangjlie, 22, died on the spot and his body was transported to the mortuary of the Nankudu District Hospital.
Long Haiqiang, 46, died later at the Rundu State Hospital. Their next-of-kin have been informed.
The driver of the vehicle and another passenger sustained minor injuries.
In another incident, Annagreth Kudumo, a teacher from Rundu, died on Friday when her vehicle overturned. She had been driving from Nkurenkuru to Rundu.
Two other people in the car sustained serious injuries, whilst another passenger sustained slight injuries.
