Ibero-American Film Festival

The Embassies of the Ibero-American community (Brazil, Cuba, Portugal, Spain and Venezuela) in Windhoek are proud to announce this year’s annual edition of the highly awaited Ibero-American Film Festival.

 The Film Festival, in its fifth edition, will be held from April 13th to the 17th, 2015 at Diogo Cão Language Centre, inside Windhoek International School in Pioneerspark,  with a movie screening every day at 18h00 and 20H00.

The movies will be shown in their original languages with English subtitles.  This is an excellent opportunity to acknowledge first hand the Ibero-American culture and history through its movie industry.

This year’s selection is the following:

  Monday 13th -      18H00 - Reveròn (Venezuela)

 Tuesday 14th -       18H00 - Bad day to go fishing (Spain)

                                   20H00 - El Círculo (Peru)

 Wednesday 15th - 18H00 - Who`s to Know (Portugal)

                                   20H00 - The God`s of Water (Argentina)

 Thursday 16th -      18H00 - Bras Cubas`s Posthumous Memoirs (Brazil)

                                   20H00 - The Fisherman (Ecuador) 

 Friday 17th -           18H00 - Kangamba (Cuba)

                                   20H00 - El Bien Esquivo (Uruguay)

 Entrance is free.
