Kwok and Abdul Rahman were found guilty by the High Court in George Town, Penang on Sept 26, 2011 of a charge each of trafficking in the drugs while Nurul Jannah was convicted of two counts.

Kwok, who worked as a gardener, was convicted of trafficking in 196.74gm of heroin at the Penang Hospital's C5 ward between 9.15am on Jan 30, 2005 and 12.40pm on Feb 1, 2005.

Labourer Abdul Rahman was convicted of trafficking in 144.42gm of heroin at the same place between 5.40am on Jan 31, 2005, and 8.20am on Feb 1, 2005.

For the first charge, Nurul Jannah, a housewife, was convicted of trafficking in 35.99gm of heroin which was found in a sling bag which she carried at the Penang International Airport in Bayan Lepas at 5.15pm on Jan 29, 2005.

For the second charge, she was found guilty of trafficking in 170.01gm of heroin at the Penang Hospital's C5 ward between 7.35am on Jan 31, 2005 and 3.35am on Feb 2, 2005.
