Man hangs himself in Dolam

WINDHOEK, 06 FEB (NAMPA) - A 23-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in the Dolam residential area of the capital on Thursday.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)'s Inspector Slogan Matheus confirmed the incident to Nampa upon enquiry on Friday, stating that it occurred along Salem Street at an unknown time.
The deceased, identified as Piet Phage, allegedly hanged himself with a rope from a timber roof truss inside an outside bathroom.
His lifeless body was discovered by his mother at about 18h00 on that same day.
The motive behind the suicide has not yet been established as no suicide note was left behind.
His next of kin have been informed, and police investigations into the matter continue.
