SA JUNIORS AT YOUTH COMMONWEALTH GAMES
Bowls South Africa (BSA) has accepted an invitation for its juniors to join the South African team to the Youth Commonwealth Games in Samoa from September 5 to 11.
The squad will be submitted to the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) before the end of February.
BSA said final selections would be confirmed and published on March 2 and the federation would meet all costs.
The team would comprise girls and a boys aged between 14 and 17, and should not have reached 18 on or before September 5. They would compete in the singles and mixed pairs.
Athletes that have been selected by districts would attend trials in Johannesburg from February 21 to 22.
