ONGWEDIVA, 19 JAN (NAMPA) – The northern regional business community will come together to foster cooperation and a common agenda, the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Northern Branch chairperson Tomas Iindji says.
During a media conference here on Monday, Iindji wished the northern business community a productive year “filled with commercial wisdom and business opportunities”.
He said staff members of the northern branch are more than ever prepared in this new year to welcome all NCCI members at their office and to provide the support that each member may require.
“It is this new level of energy which can potentially help to grow your business to the next level,” he noted.
The mission of the NCCI Northern Branch, Iindji said, is to represent, serve and connect its approximately 1 700 members to build and sustain a thriving business community in northern Namibia.
He added that his branch provides many great benefits for its members, including networking, member benefits, and advocacy.
Iindji believes that his executive committee is made up of engaged members who further explore issues and develop policy and position papers that make recommendations for change or solutions to challenges.
He wants to see the NCCI members begin to trade with the little they can afford instead of overloading themselves with financial burdens - a situation that can lead to indebtedness and/or bankruptcy.
The chamber and its entire membership are anticipative that 2015 will be a year of action and results, said Iindji.
