KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) -- A half-day symposium will be held on July 25 to discuss opportunities and challenges in the trademark sector, says the Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA).
The meeting is targeted at all small-and-medium enterprises as they assume a fundamental role in trademark and patent registration.
The symposium, titled "Malaysian Landscape For Trademark Evolution" would be attended by about 100 delegates, comprising entrepreneurs, inventors, intellectual property (IP) agents, legal experts, government agencies and corporates with IP trademarks and patents.
Key speakers for the symposium include, among others, Malaysia SME Chief Executive Officer Wayne Lim and Head, Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia Trademark Section Abdul Aziz Ismail.
