OTJIWARONGO, 25 DEC (NAMPA) – Two baby boys and a girl were born on Christmas Day at the Otjiwarongo State Hospital’s Maternity Ward on Thursday.
“We first assisted an 18-year-old woman to deliver her baby girl at 12h47,” said Otjiwarongo State Hospital’s Maternity Ward Supervisor, Alma Paulus.
She told Nampa on Thursday that they later helped bring Johannes Malapi into the world at 12h54, and another boy at 15h45.
All three babies were born healthy, said Paulus.
Speaking on behalf of the other mothers, Frieda Uises, 18, from Otavi expressed happiness to deliver a healthy baby girl on the same day believed to be the day Jesus Christ was born.
This is Uises’s first child.
