KAZAN, (Russia), July 14 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian rugby squad suffered their second consecutive defeat in the World University Games (Universiade) Rugby 7s competition after going down 0-38 to Belgium in a Group B match at the Tulpar Stadium, here, today.

Malaysia who were drawn in Group B with Great Britain, Belgium and Georgia, had earlier lost to defending champion Great Britain 5-59.

The two defeats have certainly dashed Malaysia's hopes of advancing further in the competition.

Malaysia complete their fixture against Georgia at the same venue tomorrow.
