The challenge by the Rally for Democracy and Progress to stop the elections from going ahead over the use of the Electronic Voting Machines has been thrown by the High Court.
The judgment was handed down at the high court in Windhoek.
This means the elections will go ahead unhindered as planned.
The opposition party had yesterday raised arguments in court that they wanted the election to be postponed as the electronic voting machines do not have provision for paper trail in times of disagreements.
However the opposition seemed eager to appeal against the Judgment.
