Boxing bonanza on 06 Dec.

WINDHOEK, 18 NOV 2014 (NAMPA) – The ‘Champions in Action Part 3’ Boxing Bonanza will take place on 06 December 2014 at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort.
This was announced by the trainer and promoter of the MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy, Nestor Tobias during a media briefing here on Tuesday.
The main bout will see Namibia’s Immanuel “Prince” Naindjala defending his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa Bantamweight title against Gideon Buthelezi of South Africa in a 12-round bout.
Naindjala has a record of 21 fights of which he won 19, drew once and lost once, while his opponent fought 17 times with 13 wins and four loses.
On his part, Naindjala said he is prepared.
“I have a great team around me, I have the support I need, and I just need to perform. I will give extra celebration on 28 November (general election day),” he said.
Other title fights on the night are:
WBO Africa Lightweight Title (over 12 rounds) - Samuel “Hammer” Kapapu vs Martin Haikali
WBO Africa Flyweight Title (12 rounds) - Abmerk “Scorpion” Shindjuu vs Japhet “Thin Man” Utoni
WBO Africa Junior Welterweight Title (12 rounds) - Julius “Blue Machine” Indongo vs Kaizer Mabuza (South Africa)
National Bantamweight Title (10 rounds) - Simon “Baluka” Johannes vs Abner Mwafangeyo.
The undercard bouts are:
Featherweight Division (4 rounds) - Onesmus Nekundi vs Erick Kalenga
Lightweight (4 rounds - swinger) – Kennedy Kamati vs Domicusi Weyulu
Welterweight (6 rounds) - Mike “Silent Assassin” Shonena vs Nikola Mutonhora from Zimbabwe
International Featherweight (8 rounds) - Sakaria “Desert Storm” Lucas vs Koos Matshiya from South Africa
Middleweight (6 rounds – swinger) - Walter “Executioner” Kautondokwa vs Edmos Takawira (Zimbabwe)
Meanwhile, the Sunshine Academy will have another boxing bonanza at Oshikango in Helao Nafidi town on 20 December 2014.
Paulus “The Hitman” Moses and Paulus “The Rock” Ambunda will be in action on that day.
Tickets for the 06 December fights are available at Computicket at N.dollars 200 for general seats and N.dollars 10 000 for VIP seats.
