Swapo-party colours all over Otjozondjupa this weekend

OTJIWARONGO, 23 OCT (NAMPA) – Founding President, Dr Sam Nujoma is expected to address a Swapo-Party election campaign star rally in Okahandja on Saturday.
The Swapo-Party’s Otjozondjupa regional co-ordinator, Susan Hikopua told Nampa on Wednesday President Hifikepunye Pohamba will appear at a similar rally in Grootfontein on Sunday.
The Okahandja rally will take place at the Nau-Aib Sports Stadium, while the one at Grootfonteinwill be held at the Omulunga Sports Stadium.
“Both rallies will be held in the afternoon, so I appeal to all residents in the region to come out in big numbers and hear their leaders speak at the rallies over the weekend,” Hikopua said.
The Otjozondjupa Regional Governor, Samuel Nuuyoma who is also a member of the Swapo-Party Central Committee and a national political leader assigned to the region, on Wednesday confirmed that the two leaders will be in the region over the weekend.
“The organisation of these two big political rallies are all set,” he said.
Nuuyoma is involved in the organising of the rallies.
Okahandja is situated approximately 180 kilometres south of Otjiwarongo, while Grootfontein is situated about 190 kilometres north-east of Otjiwarongo.
