KLCI FUTURES TRADED LOWER AT MID-DAY AMID FIRMER CASH MARKET

KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded lower at mid-day amid firmer cash market, dealers said.

At mid-day break, spot month July 2013, August 2013 and December 2013 fell 1.5 points each to 1,786.50, 1,787.0 and 1,787.0, respectively.

However, September 2013 rose 0.5 of a point to 1,786.0.

Turnover stood at 2,174 lots while open interest totalled 37,193 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI gained 2.65 points to 1,783.8 after opening 3.85 points better at 1,785.0.
