He said that in the raid, the police seized various items, including a machete, mobile phones, watches and a Proton Iswara car which was believed to have been used to commit crimes.
"Over the past three motnhs, the gang was believed to be linked to 10 hold-ups, including those at clinics and restaurants, and vehicle robberies in the same area.
"Initial investigations also found that the gang was involved in criminal activities in and around Seremban and Cheras. We are in the midst of tracking the remaining six members of the gang," he told reporters here today.
Meanwhile, the police have detained four men in connection with a robbery and an attempted robbery in Kajang.
Thaiveegan said two of the suspects who were arrested yesterday were believed to be linked to the attempted hold-up at a mamak stall in Taman Megah, while the other two were picked up on July 1, in connection with a supermarket robbery in Taman Taming Jaya.
