Namibia time changes to summer time on Sunday

WINDHOEK, 05 SEP (NAMPA) - Namibians have to turn their clocks forward one hour at 02h00 on Sunday, 07 September to enter summer time, which is two hours in advance of Greenwich mean time.
According to a media release from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology on Friday, this practice is in accordance with the Namibian Time Act, 1994, Act. No. 3 of 1994, which regulates winter and summer time here.
The Act stipulates that Namibia enters summer time at 02:00 on the first Sunday in September of every year, and reverts to winter time at 02:00 on the first of April every year.
