The Embassy of Turkey in Windhoek presents a photo exhibition by Turkish photographer Osman Nuri Yüce, depicting UNESCO World Heritage and other prominent sites of Turkey.

This exhibition introduces the Namibian public to 13 prominent sites of Turkey that  are registered under the “UNESCO World Heritage List”. These sites are representing different layers of Anatolian civilization encompassing more than 10.000 years of rich
history, including Neolithic, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. Being among the 20 founding countries of UNESCO, Turkey’s active participation in activities within UNESCO continues to loom large in Turkey’s cultural, educational and
scientific external relations.

Pour la première fois, le CCFN et l’Ambassade de Turquie en Namibie collaborent dans le cadre de cette exposition, invitant le public à découvrir ou redécouvrir la richesse du patrimoine architectural de l’Anatolie aux rives du Bosphore.
