KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were higher at mid-day today amid positive sentiment on local and regional equities, dealers said.
At lunch break, spot month July 2013 and December 2013 stood at 1,769.5 and 1,772.5 respectively.
August 2013 rose 0.5 of a point to 1,770 and September 2013 added 1.5 points to 1,771.
Turnover stood at 2,012 lots, while open interest totalled 34,777 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI rose 4.65 points to 1,767.52. -- BERNAMA
