PUTRAJAYA, July 8 (Bernama)-- The Education Ministry has set up a committee to solve the transfer application of school teachers in the country, said Second Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.

"The Ministry has established a committee to investigate, improve and ensure that the matter is resolved well. We will try to find the best method to solve the problem.

"The problem had persisted as the transfer application from teachers reached up to 16,000, while the vacancies amounted to only 2,000 to 3,000 posts," he told reporters after pre-launching of the 5th Sport Championship of Malaysia Education Institution (SIPMA) 2013, here, today.

On the safety on Malaysian students in Egypt, he said they were safe and so far, there was no need to bring them home.

"The government has not decided to bring them back," he added.
