Leadership positions at CAM

Capricorn Asset Management (CAM) Gunton Cloete, Floris Bergh

as and Fouche Brand New business Development Executive Officer;

AND Chief Investment Officer respectively.

Cloete responsibilities will include institutional and corporate

clients as well as financial advisors. He has gained experience in the

asset management environment which include his role as Finance,

Investments and IT General Manager at the Government Institutions

Pension Fund (GIPF).

He also served as a managing director of Prudential Portfolio

managers Namibia from 2005 to 2013. He is a chartered accountant

amongst other qualification.

CAM managing director Tertius Liebenberg said; “Gunton is highly

regarded in the Namibian investment community and we look

forward to the contribution he will make in the future.”

Bergh’s responsibilities will include CAM’s portfolio management

functions and serve as a member of the CAM executive management

team.

He holds a wealth of investment management experience spanning

more than 20 years, which includes his previous roles as Portfolio

Manager at Namibia Asset Management, stockbroker at Simonis

Storm Securities, head of Investec Asset management Namibia and

equity Portfolio manager at old Mutual Investment Group Namibia.

Bergh is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as well as a B com (Hons)

in economics and is a NSX qualified stock broker.

Liebenberg adds that Fouché Brand was appointed as Investor

Services executive officer for private clients to expand their private

client offering to the more affluent investor markets.
