Addy Riruako sworn into as MP

WIDNHOEK, 09 JUL (NAMPA) – National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) party member, Addy Riruako was officially sworn in as a Member of Parliament (MP) here on Tuesday.
He replaces the late Paramount Chief Kuaima Riruako, who passed away in the Roman Catholic Hospital on 02 June 2014 following a long illness.
Addy, who is third on the NUDO party list, took his oath in the National Assembly and was sworn in by Chief Justice Peter Shivute.
Addy, 71, is a nephew of the late Riruako.
Meanwhile, Asser Mbai was on Sunday elected as NUDO president, while Benistus Uanee Kandudu will act as vice-president until the party’s elective congress slated for later this year.
