JOHOR BAHARU, July 7 (Bernama) - England beat South Korea 2-1 in the World Hockey League semi-finals to win third place.
England's first goal came from a field goal scored by Ben Arnold in the 12th minute.
Stung by the goal, South Korea worked hard and was rewarded when Kim Seong Kyu equalised from a penalty corner in the 51st minute.
However, the joy was shortlived as England again took the lead when Harry Martin scored from a penalty corner in the 59th minute.
South Korea tried hard to get another goal to force a penalty shootout but to no avail as England held on until the final whistle.
