"We need players who are truly fit to continue with the remaining matches if we qualify for the quarterfinals," he said.

After beating Italy 2-0 in the first match, the university football squad was hampered by the problem of a lack of players and the team only had 13 players who were fit for the second match against the 2011 finalist, Great Britain tomorrow and Algeria on Wednesday.

The squad, with 16 players previously, faced a problem when the main goalkeeper, Mohd Izham Tarmizi Roslan and midfielder Syahrul Azwari Ibrahim were sent off during the match against Italy.

Commenting on the match against Great Britain tomorrow, Ong said there was not much change in terms of tactical and wanted his wards to maintain the momentum of play when they beat Italy last Friday.
