JOHOR BAHARU, July 7 (Bernama) - Johor Darul Takzim (Johor DT) has blamed their bad match results on poor refereeing and are seeking for answers from the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
Johor DT (Southern Tigers) who drew 1-1 against Selangor (Red Giants) missed out on a slot for the AFC Cup Championship next season.
State Exco member for Youth, Sports, Culture and Heritage, Datuk Zulkurnain Kamisan said the Johor Football Association had filed over five complaints on poor refereeing to the FAM backed by proof in writing and video footage.
"I hope the FAM can take drastic action because of the poor quality of refereeing and many decisions can be disputed," he told a press conference here today.
Commenting on the Johor DT-Selangor match, he said Johor DT felt victimised becuase many of the refereeing decisions went against them.

"I was at Hasan Yunos Stadium to watch the match last night and witnessed the poor refereeing.
"Such things should not have happened as spectators bought tickets to watch a fair game," he said, adding if not corrected, the spectators and players would lose faith in the FAM.
Zulkurnain added a similar thing happened during the Lions XII-Johor DT match at the Jalan Besar Stadium, Singapore on June 22.
He urged the new FAM general secretary Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin to play a big role in changing the football environment in the country towards the better.
