Angolan man bumped to death on Ondangwa-Oshikango road

ONGWEDIVA, 18 JUN (NAMPA) – A 29-year-old Angolan man was bumped to death while crossing the road near the Omafo settlement on the Oshikango-Ondangwa main road in the Ohangwena Region at about 18h50 on Monday.
Sergeant Kaume Iitumba of the Namibia Police Force (NamPol) Public Relations Unit in that region identified the deceased as Jermia Mateus.
He told Nampa on Tuesday Mateus was bumped by a Toyota Corolla with registration number N24461SH, which was driven by Lineekela Nauyoma from the Haiyandja village of the Okaku Constituency in northern Namibia.
Mateus’ next of kin have been informed.
The Ohangwena Police have opened a case of culpable homicide against Nauyoma.
