KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 (Bernama) -- TA Enterprise Bhd will not sell its stockbroking subsidiary, TA Securities Holdings Bhd, to K&N Kenanga Holdings Bhd.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Datin Tan Kuay Fong said the group had never intended to dispose TA Securities as speculated by the media recently.

However, Tan said as an entrepreneur, she would consider divesting the stockbroking business if she received an offer that she could not resist.

"We have already issued a statement to Bursa Malaysia dismissing the speculation," she told reporters after TA Enterprise and TA Global Bhd's annual general meetings today.

Tay said the group planned to launch three property projects in the second half of the year with a total gross development value of RM1.9 billion, through its 73.4 per cent subsidiary, TA Global Bhd

For the group's financial year ending Jan 31, 2014, the group is expected to perform better, driven by its hotel and property divisions.
