Trustco opens regional office in Otjiwarongo

OTJIWARONGO, 21 MAY (NAMPA) – Trustco Group Holdings on Wednesday officially opened its regional office in Otjiwarongo in the Otjozondjupa Region.
Otjiwarongo Deputy Mayor, Archillaus Namaseb officially opened the company’s new offices situated in the Paresis Business Complex.
The subsidiaries under Trustco Group Holdings that will operate in Otjiwarongo include the Institute of Open Learning (IOL), Trustco Insurance, Trustco Finance and Legal Shield.
“You will agree with me that there is nothing more exciting for a local authority councillor than to see new businesses opening doors in his or her town,” Namaseb said in his official opening speech.
He commended Trustco Group Holdings for investing resources in the town as by doing so, employment opportunities are created for locals.
Namaseb said the economic development of Otjiwarongo and its people should not only be seen as the responsibility of the council, adding that it is through co-operation with different businesses and private stakeholders that the social and economic upliftment of the people will happen.
“I would like to inform our business stakeholders that the Otjiwarongo Town Council is here to assist you and that we are committed to creating an environment which is conducive for all investment,” he stated.
Trustco Segment Head for Finance and Education, Adrianna Lambert was also present at the official opening of the office.
“Today we celebrate another milestone in Trustco’s history by officially opening the Otjiwarongo regional office,” she said.
She then urged students from the Otjozondjupa Region to make use of IOL offices in Otjiwarongo so that they can get educated through distance education.
Trustco’s IOL centre here is equipped with a computer laboratory.
