KUWAIT, July 4 (Bernama) -- The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail wants Malaysians abroad to be united, besides building harmonious ties with the local community.
According to him, Malaysia would also continue to be respected if its citizens did not break the law of the host country.
Speaking at the launch of the West Asian-level of "Liqa Mawaddah" programme organised by the Perlis Islamic and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) at Regency Hotel here last night, he hoped Malaysian citizens would practise the spirit of "respecting the land where one lives".
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin was confident the spirit would make Malaysia to continue to be held in high esteem.
Also present was the Malaysian ambassador to Kuwait, Datuk Adnan Othman.
