KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, tracking the underlying cash market, a dealer said. July 2013, August 2013 and September 2013 were all 5.5 points higher at 1,775.5, 1,775 and 1,773.5, respectively.
Spot month December 2013 was untraded. Turnover decreased to 5,326 lots from 6,404 lots on Wednesday, while open interest stood at 37,370 contracts compared with 37,567 contracts previously.
The underlying FBM KLCI firmed 2.13 points, or 0.12 per cent, to close at 1,771.34. -- BERNAMA
