Early results in the national elections from the Electoral Commission of SA results centre in Pretoria show the African National Congress had 85,808 votes late Wednesday night. The Democratic Alliance had 55,421 votes, the United Democratic Movement 2757 votes, the Freedom Front Plus 3505 votes, the Economic Freedom Fighters 4614 votes and Congress of the People 1571 votes. The Workers Socialist Party had 107 votes, the African Christian Democratic Party 1113 votes, the African Independent Congress 970 votes, the African Peoples Convention 308 votes and Agang SA 323 votes. Al Jama-Ah had 288 votes, the Azanian Peoples Organisation 110 votes, the Bushbuckridge Residents Association 115 votes, First Nation Liberation Alliance 68 votes, and Front National had 69 votes. The Independent Civic Organisation of SA had 563 votes, the Inkatha Freedom Party 2048 votes, Keep It Straight and Simple 30 votes, Kingdom Governance Movement 104 votes, Minority Front 58 votes, the National Freedom Party 1114 votes and the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania 249 votes. The Pan Africanist Movement had 39 votes, Patriotic Alliance 221 votes, Peoples Alliance 21 votes, the Ubuntu Party 98 votes, United Christian Democratic Party 120 votes and United Congress had 28 votes.
