Early results in the national elections from the Electoral Commission of SA results centre in Pretoria show the African National Congress had 13,288 votes by midnight on Wednesday. The Democratic Alliance had 4870 votes, the United Democratic Movement 733 votes, the Freedom Front Plus 424 votes, the Economic Freedom Fighters 510 votes and Congress of the People had 374 votes. The Workers Socialist Party had 13 votes, the African Christian Democratic Party 103 votes, the African Independent Congress 146 votes, the African Peoples Convention 50 votes and Agang SA 18 votes. Al Jama-Ah had 13 votes, the Azanian Peoples Organisation 11 votes, the Bushbuckridge Residents Association 11 votes, the First Nation Liberation Alliance six votes and Front National had 10 votes. The Independent Civic Organisation of SA had 17 votes, the Inkatha Freedom Party 298 votes, Keep It Straight and Simple had no votes, the Kingdom Governance Movement had 24 votes, the Minority Front five votes, the National Freedom Party 146 votes and the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania 82 votes. The Pan Africanist Movement had seven votes, the Patriotic Alliance six votes, the Peoples Alliance two votes, the Ubuntu Party 13 votes, the United Christian Democratic Party eight votes and the United Congress had two votes.
