WINDHOEK, 29 APR (NAMPA) – The current health status of OvaHerero Paramount Chief and Nudo of Namibia president Dr Kuaima Riruako has been described as stable.
Riruako was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Roman Catholic Hospital in the capital on Saturday, two days after celebrating his 79th birthday.
Brian Riruako, a son of the veteran politician and long-serving Member of Parliament (MP), told Nampa on Tuesday the chief’s condition is not life-threatening.
Brian said his father has been diagnosed with high blood pressure, and is still using the same medication prescribed by his doctors.
