Iindji re-elected as NCCI Northern Branch chairperson

ONGWEDIVA, 16 APR (NAMPA) – Members of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (NCCI) Northern Branch have re-elected Tomas Iindji as the chairperson of the branch’s executive committee (Exco).
Iindji was re-elected for a third consecutive term of office during the branch’s annual general meeting (AGM) held at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Centre on Tuesday.
He was elected unopposed. Business personalities Linda Naikaku and Malakia Katumbo Patrus have also been re-elected as the branch’s vice-chairperson and treasurer, respectively.
Sion Sheehama, another old member of the Exco, was re-elected as additional member, while Cornelia Shilunga, Fenny Nanyeni and Juliana Nepembe-Haimbodi are the new additional members of the Exco.
Mines and Energy Minister Isak Katali addressed the AGM, and urged members of the northern business community to support the leadership of the NCCI’s Northern Branch.
Katali has described the northern branch of the NCCI as a well-organised structure. The newly elected leaders will serve the NCCI’s Northern Branch for the next two years.
