Arandis health centre's construction ahead of schedule

ARANDIS, 10 JUL (NAMPA) ? The Arandis Town Council?s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Florida Husselmann says construction work on a health care centre here might be completed sooner than expected.
Speaking to Nampa in an interview on Tuesday, she said work on the centre, which is a first for Arandis, is two months ahead of schedule.
Husselmann indicated that the project was initially set to be completed by November or December this year, but with the speedy progress made with the construction, it might be completed sooner.
The tender for the construction of the centre was awarded to the main contracting company, Amupolo Building Construction (ABC) on 11 December 2012.
The facility, situated at the town?s entrance, stretches over 7 744 square metres.
The health care centre, which is being constructed at a cost of N.dollars 15 million, forms part of the Ministry of Health and Social Services and falls under the Targeted Intervention Programme for Employment and Economic Growth (TIPEEG).
The health centre will amongst other things include a small pharmacy, as well as seven consulting rooms.
